Outside My Window

Outside my window it is hot and humid, but the view is comforting.

The landscape is vivid green and filled with tall cornfields and short bean fields stretching as far as the eye can see.

Numerous tall white windmills stand majestically, their blades turning slowly in the hot, heavy air.

The humidity is stifling, making the heat feel even more intense, but the ground is cracked and dry from a lack of rain.

Occasionally, a small delicate white butterfly flutters by, adding a touch of grace to the scene.

Birds flit about here and there, bringing life and movement to this still rural panorama.

Cornfields are my home. Soon we will head south again so I will cherish the view outside my window for now.
