The Boat
By Julia A. Keirns

Picture resembling a sailboat on the sea I colored in one of those adult coloring books with markers during one of my broken leg seasons

Out on the sea
I saw a boat
White sails standing tall
Seagulls flying in the air
I liked the most of all
Up and down, back and forth
The boat did sail away
“Come back,” I yelled out to the sea
“Come back another day.”

Storybird review – Some moments only come around once, so we must treasure every second. Great job! Reviewed by AngellEcho
