Lake Loramie State Park is located east of Fort Loramie, Ohio and south of Grand Lake St. Mary’s. This is a beautiful campground area. The lots are large enough to give plenty of room for privacy yet close enough to visit with neighbors. Lots of shade trees made camping in the tent quite comfortable. The restrooms were clean with flush toilets and warm water.
The lake is long and beautiful. Gas motors are allowed on this lake but there are some speed limits to pay attention to. We were told to be careful of stumps. The most interesting thing about this lake is that there were large snails floating on the water. I had never seen so many snails quite that large.
I highly recommend this park. The grandkids had a wonderful time and we will definitely be going back.
