Indian Lake is the second largest inland lake in the state of Ohio at 5,104 acres. It was originally used as a water reservoir and is not very deep. This lake is great for fishing and boating. There are a few nice sandbar areas where you can park the boat and get out to walk around in knee-high to waist-high water on nice sandy bottoms. I do have to say that the lake water is not very clean. The water is brown and there is a lot of seaweed. One public beach allows boaters to also park the boat and get out and play on the beach. We had our dog with us and he was welcome just about everywhere we went. The restrooms at the State Park Campground were clean and modern. We camped in site B38 and had plenty of room and lots of shade. Sad that I did not get a picture of our campsite this weekend.
